End-to-end training solutions: from scoping to evaluation, and every step in between.
Scoping, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the success of each training deliverable is an essential part of my role as an Instructional Designer. I work closely with stakeholders to identify and solve behavioral gaps with the goal of driving measurable change.
Below you’ll find several projects I’ve worked on, including the information I uncovered during the scoping process, my initial design documents, and the final products I created.

Projects

Core skills upskilling framework
In early 2024 I partnered with Guild’s customer-facing teams to revamp their onboarding program and approach to upskilling. Although this led to the development of quite a few training deliverables, I wanted to kick off my portfolio by giving you a behind-the-scenes look at my scoping process. You can review the full audit I conducted of the existing program and the presentation I made to pitch this project below.

De-escalation blended training
The below de-escalation training materials were designed for customer-facing team members who didn’t test out of participating in more elevated de-escalation training. The eLearning was the foundation for additional trainings including an eLearning focused on applying the H.E.A.R.D method to chat/email communications and a VILT where learners practiced using H.E.A.R.D to de-escalate tense phone conversations.

TMS onboarding framework and ILT
From 2023 – 2024 I partnered with Family Care Center, a collection of psychiatric offices based in Colorado, to help them redesign their TMS onboarding program. Below you’ll find a PDF that outlines the updated TMS onboarding we developed and an overview of one of the ILTs I developed as part of the revamped program.

Pay and performance eLearning
From 2023 – 2024 I led my team in developing the training materials for Guild’s updated pay and performance framework. The below training is one of the eLearnings I developed to prepare managers for making merit increase recommendations.
